In Rise of Legends, the creators moved away from the realistic world - they replaced it with an interesting universe in which magic occurs next to technology modeled on the inventions of Leonardo da Vinci. Continuation of the real-time strategy of Rise of Nations, in which the player's goal was to build his own civilization.
